How We Give Back
We are proud to support, sponsor and partner with local and national organizations that make an impact in our community and in the lives of children. Children and families should not have to suffer hardships and wherever we can help and make a difference KD Novelties will be there.
Room for Smiles
We partner with Room for Smiles, a non-profit organization dedicated to changing the world one child's bedroom at a time. Room for Smiles provides newly redecorated bedrooms for terminally or chronically ill children at no cost to the parents. These children, while literally fighting for their lives, deserve a comfortable, colorful, safe place to recuperate from the many tests and procedures they must endure daily.
Lainie’s Angels
During pediatric cancer awareness month in September, a portion of our proceeds are donated to Lainie’s Angels, a non-profit organization dedicated to helping families of children diagnosed with cancer or a blood disorder.
Pacer’s National Bullying Prevention Center
We partner with Pacer’s National Bullying Prevention Center in the fight against bullying. A portion of our proceeds from our Terrance the Giraffe book are donated to Pacer on bullying prevention month in October. Our award winning Terrance the Giraffe personalized book encourages children that are going through a challenging stage while teaching children not to tease others.
Guild of St Margaret Soup Kitchen
We support the Guild of St Margaret Soup Kitchen to feed families in need within the community. In addition to donating a portion of our proceeds, Kim Delgado, owner of KD Novelties, volunteers weekly at the soup kitchen and serves on the Board of Directors.
The Joye Foundation
We are proud to support The Joye Foundation a local non-profit supplying needs to poverty stricken children in our county (and nationwide). Their mission is to carry the load so children can focus on the joy of being a child.
